A APVET – Associação Portuguesa de Instituições VET é parceira no projeto “PreSTEM-ARise – Promover a empregabilidade na indústria transformadora tradicional para perfis STEM no território europeu, com foco na indústria de produtos para crianças, implementando tecnologias de RA - realidade aumentada e RV - realidade virtual”, que decorrerá entre 2025 e 2026, em parceria com o CEIV (Espanha) e o AIJU (Espanha). O projeto visa modernizar a EFP – educação e formação profissional na indústria de moldes e ferramentas através da integração de Realidade Aumentada (RA) e Realidade Virtual (RV), aproximando a formação das necessidades reais da indústria.
Objetivos do projeto:
-Modernizar a EFP com metodologias imersivas (AR/VR), tornando-a mais atrativa para os/as jovens; ;
-Alinhar os currículos de formação com as necessidades do mercado de trabalho e reduzir o desajuste de competências; ;
-Aumentar a empregabilidade e a segurança dos formandos, reduzindo o período de adaptação em contexto real de trabalho;
-Estimular a procura por percursos STEM e o número de matrículas em cursos técnicos ligados à indústria tradicional~;

Resultados Finais:
-PreSTEM-ARise Toolkit – um conjunto de recursos digitais RA/RV para simular ambientes e tarefas reais na indústria de moldes e ferramentas;
-Atividades de formação blended (mistas - sessões online e workshops presenciais) em Portugal e Espanha, com relatórios, questionários de impacto e inquéritos de satisfação;
-Guia, materiais de apoio e integração do Toolkit nos programas de formação dos centros VET
-Novas parcerias entre centros de formação e empresas e maior adoção de AR/VR na EFP;
-Ações de disseminação (website do projeto, LinkedIn, webinars, seminários e workshops) para promover a utilização dos resultados.

APVET - Portuguese Association of VET Institutions is a partner in the project “PreSTEM-ARise - Promote employability in the traditional manufacturing industry for STEM profiles in the European territory focused on the children's industry implementing AR and VR technologies.”, which will run between 2025 and 2026, in partnership with CEIV (Spain) and AIJU (Spain). The project aims to modernise VET - vocational education and training in the mould and tool industry through the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), bringing training closer to the real needs of the industry.
Project Objectives:
-Modernise VET with immersive methodologies (AR/VR), making it more attractive to young people;
-Align training curricula with labour market needs and reduce skills mismatches;
-Increase the employability and safety of trainees, reducing the adaptation period in a real work context;
-Stimulate demand for STEM pathways and enrolment in technical courses linked to traditional industry;
-Strengthen education-industry cooperation and create a model that can be scaled to other sectors of traditional manufacturing industry.
Final results:
-PreSTEM-ARise Toolkit - a set of AR/VR digital resources to simulate real environments and tasks in the mould and tooling industry;
-Blended training activities (mixed - online sessions and face-to-face workshops) in Portugal and Spain, with reports, impact questionnaires and satisfaction surveys;
-Guide, support materials and integration of the Toolkit into VET centre training programmes;
-New partnerships between training centres and companies and greater adoption of AR/VR in VET;
-Dissemination actions (project website, LinkedIn, webinars, seminars and workshops) to promote the use of the results.
